Парки Лондона - FACES OF LONDON

Цели: развитие навыков изучающего чтения; введение новой лексики по теме «Лица Лондона»; закрепление грамматического материала по теме «Настоящее совершенное время».

Оборудование: картинки по теме «Лица Лондона».

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

— Good morning, boys and girls! (Good morning, Maria Petrovna!)

— I am glad to see you. (We are glad to see you too.)

— How are you? (We are fine, thanks. And how are you?)

— I am fine, thank you. Who is absent today? (All pupils are present.)

— Let’s remember our poem to greet each other. Listen to me, please.

It’s time to say “Hello!” (Hello!)

It's time to say “Hello!” (Hello!)

It’s time to say “Hello!” (Hello!)

And start our lesson.

II. Фонетическая зарядка

— Let’s play with our monkey.

Дети повторяют за учителем все движения.)

Наша обезьянка серьезная, а вот она улыбнулась. (Губы растянуть, а затем вернуть в нейтральное положение.)

Наша обезьянка надулась. (Губы сжать без выпячивания, а затем вернуть в нейтральное положение.)

Обезьянка играет с язычком: поднимет за верхние зубки, потом спрячет кончик язычка за нижние зубки.

Обезьянка очень любит играть в волейбол. (Рот слегка приоткрыт; языком задеть переднее (твердое) нёбо, зубы, правую щеку, левую щеку.)

Наша обезьянка — сладкоежка. Но вот карамелька прилипла к ее верхним зубкам, и обезьянка пытается ее слизнуть. (Кончиком языка быстро провести по верхним зубам, а затем отодвинуть язык к заднему (мягкому) нёбу.)

Поздно вечером обезьянка зажигает свечку, а перед сном задувает ее. Давайте попробуем задуть свечку. (Губы вытянуть вперед трубочкой, и «подуть» на свечку, не надувая щеки, затем резко вернуть губы в обычное положение.)

— Today we shall learn a new tongue twister. Listen to me, please.

All I want is a proper cup of coffee made in a proper copper coffee pot. Can you translate it?

— Repeat it after me.

— Say it slowly, quickly, loudly, in a whisper.

(Ученики разучивают новую скороговорку, повторяют ее за учителем, произносят вслух и шепотом, медленно и быстро.)

III. Речевая разминка

— It’s time to remember the Present Perfect Tense. Listen to my questions and give the short answers on them.

(Учитель предлагает ученикам кратко ответить на вопросы в настоящем совершенном времени.)

— Have you done your homework for today?

— Have you gone to the shop recently?

— Have you written down the date?

— Have you visited the cinema this week?

— Has your brother cleaned his room this week?

— Has your mother had breakfast today?

— Has your father watched TV recently?

— Have you bought new books this week?

— Have your friends been to the museum recently? Etc.

— We shall remember the Present Perfect Tense today. Listen to me and agree or disagree with me.

(Ученики выражают согласие или несогласие с утверждениями учителя, а затем составляют свои предложения и используют их в парной работе.)

— You have not done exercise 114. (You are wrong. We have done exercise 114.)

— You have had Russian today. (You are right. I have had Russian today.)

— Your mother has not cleaned the room this week. (You are wrong. My mother has cleaned the room this week.) Etc.

1. Введение новой лексики

— Now it’s time to practise some new words from the texts. Look at the blackboard, please. Read the words aloud, please.

— Can you translate them?

— Repeat the words after me.

— Can you make up the word combinations using these words?

(На доске записаны слова по теме «Лица Лондона». Ученики читают их и пытаются догадаться об их значении. Затем дети повторяют слова за учителем и составляют с ними словосочетания. Если учащиеся испытывают затруднения в составлении словосочетаний, учитель предлагает для перевода свои варианты: to be rich in parks, to be proud of my family, cultural activities, friendly Londoners, a beautiful garden, like horse-riding, a famous lake, a deep pond, etc.)

— I’d like you to look through the text of exercise 117 on pages 120121 for four minutes and say why Londoners are proud of their parks.

— We have read the story about some famous parks of London. Alex will read the first extract aloud. Follow in your books while he is reading.

(Учитель обсуждает с учащимися задание. Дети просматривают текст из данного упражнения и отвечают на поставленный вопрос. Затем учащиеся читают рассказ вслух по цепочке (каждый ученик читает по три-пять предложений).)

— Answer my questions, please.

— The next task for you is exercise 118 on page 121. Answer the questions in groups.

(Ученики отвечают на вопросы учителя по содержанию текста, а затем в группах по три человека выполняют упр. 118.)

Примерные вопросы учителя:

— Is London rich in parks and gardens? (Yes, it is. London is very rich in parks and gardens.)

— Where can you see the statue of the famous fairy tale hero Peter Pen? (We can see Peter Pen in Kensington Gardens.)

— Are parks free in the capital of the UK? (Yes, they are. Parks are free in London.)

— What can you do in the park? (We can walk among old trees, relax, admire flowers and plants, play tennis, swim and ride a horse.)

— What parks are situated in the centre of London? (Hyde Park, Green Park, St James Park and Kensington Gardens are situated in the centre of London.)

— What London park would you like to visit and why? (I would like to visit ... .) Etc.
