Цели: введение нового грамматического материала (the Present Continuous Tense); развитие произносительных навыков (глаголы с окончанием -ing).

Оборудование: карточки с грамматическим заданием по количеству учащихся.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

— Good morning, boys and girls! (Good morning, Maria Petrovna!)

— I am glad to see you. (We are glad to see you too.)

— How are you? (We are fine, thanks. And how are you?)

— I’m fine, thank you. Vova, how is your mother? (She is fine, thanks.)

— Masha, is your father OK? (Yes, he is. He is OK.)

— Who is absent today? (All pupils are present.)

— And who is on duty today? (Vova and Masha are on duty today.) OK. Let’s start our work. Let’s learn the Present Continuous Tense.

II. Фонетическая зарядка

Игра «Круг»

— Let’s play.

(На полу следует начертить круг. Все участники игры встают за кругом, каждый по очереди называет слово. Если в слове есть звук [s], дети должны оказаться внутри круга, если этого звука нет — снаружи.)

Примерные слова для игры

Spend, stay, water, sport, responsible, postcard, card, sound, grandmother, celebrate, souvenir.

(Игру можно провести несколько раз, меняя звук: [a:], [i:], [h], [aı]).

III. Речевая разминка

Игра «Расскажи о своем друге»

— Now I want you to play with me. I will say the sentences in the present and you will change the sentences to describe your friend. Be careful, please.

(Учитель предлагает учащимся прослушать предложения, изменить их и рассказать о своем друге.)

Примерный ход игры:

— I go to the park every day. (My friend goes to the park every day.)

— I see Jake and his mother. (She sees Jake and his mother.)

— We take a beautiful picture. (He takes a beautiful picture.)

— They give me a cup of tea. (He gives me a cup of tea.)

— I get up at seven o’clock. (Jake gets up at seven o’clock.)

— Children play hockey in the evening. (My friend plays hockey in the evening.)

— I like this lamb very much. (She likes this lamb very much.)

— I don’t do my homework in the morning. (My friend doesn't do her homework in the morning.)

— They help their granny. (He helps his granny.)

IV. Работа по теме урока

Работа с карточками

— What English tenses do you know? (Past Indefinite, Present Indefinite, Future Indefinite.)

— Can you give your own examples of these English tenses? (We played tennis yesterday. I go to school every day. Dick will visit his aunt next week. Etc.)

— Look at the cards now. They are on your desks. Divide into groups of four, please. Read the sentences one by one and name the tense.

(Учитель предлагает учащимся вспомнить изученные английские времена и составить различные предложения. Затем ученики получают карточки с грамматическим заданием: читают предложение, называют видовременную форму и обосновывают свой выбор.)

Примерное задание на карточке:

1. Mike doesn’t get up at six o’clock.

2. They read this book yesterday evening.

3. We usually play football at the stadium.

4. Do you have breakfast at seven o’clock?

5. He didn't help his mother last week.

6. When will children do their homework tomorrow?

7. What did your friend do at seven o’clock yesterday?

8. She visits her granny every week.

Ознакомление учащихся с настоящим продолженным временем. Работа по учебнику

Упр. 45, 46 (с. 65).

— Today we shall learn the new English tense. Look at the pictures from exercise 45 on page 65, read the sentences and compare them. Let’s read the examples of Present Simple and Present Continuous Tenses.

(Учитель знакомит учащихся с новым английским временем. Дети читают правила и примеры в таблице (упр. 45, 46). Следует обратить особое внимание учеников на то, как употребляется данная видовременная форма и образуются утвердительные, отрицательные и вопросительные предложения.)

Упр. 48 (с. 66).

— Now we shall learn to read the verbs with -ing. Open your books on page 66, exercise 48. Listen to the speaker and repeat the words after him.

— Read them in pairs, please.

(Ученики повторяют слова за диктором, а затем читают их в парах.)

Упр. 47 (с. 66).

— It’s time to read and translate some sentences from English into Russian. Open your books on page 66, exercise 47.

— Who is ready to start?

— Look at the blackboard now. Can you open the brackets in these sentences?

(После выполнения упр. 47 учитель обращает внимание учащихся на предложения, записанные на доске. Задание для детей - раскрыть скобки в предложениях, используя настоящее продолженное время.)

1. I (to play) football with my friends now. (I am playing football with my friends now.)

2. Where is Bill? He (to work) in the garden. (He is working in the garden.)

3. Look! She (to sing) a song. (She is singing a song.)

4. It is seven o’clock now. Children (to clean) their teeth. (Children are cleaning their teeth.)

5. We (not to sit) now, we (to stand). (We are not sitting now, we are standing.)

6. I (not to watch) TV at the moment. (Jam not watching TV at the moment.)
